At this point we found the turnout of the branch to the former railway yard of the Sphinx-pottery-factory at the Statensingel. (The founderfamily Regout was one of the stockholders of the Railroad) |

The track Maastricht-Hasselt was
discontinued for passenger-trains in 1954 . Since 1992 the railroad is in decay. Its not clear when the station was torn down. A few remains are still there, as one can see better in wintertime ! |
