Since WW I in Glons the lines 24 and 34 crossed by fly-over, without any connection between both lines (stations Glons-Haut and Glons-Bas).

In 1973 a arched connection was built between the higher line 24 and the lower line 34, after that the junction Tongeren - Nerem - Glons of line 34 was put out of use and cleared away.

The viaduct exists out of five arches, from which the two outmost were closed off and are overgrown by bushes. At this viaduct for a short time after 1982 was a sideway stop with the name Nerem-Vreren.
